Community Grants Fund Now Open

Applications for grants from the Council’s 2017/18 Community Grants Fund Applications are NOW OPEN and will close at 5pm on Friday 30th June 2017.

The Community Grants Fund aims to provide Voluntary and Community Groups with a flexible funding opportunity to support the delivery of projects and activities that benefit the local community.

£70,700 is available to fund local projects and community groups that fulfil the criteria, can apply for grants between £500 and £5,000

The main way to access specific information and advice about the Council’s Community Grant Fund is to attend the launch event and one of the advice surgeries held around the District.
Details of advice surgeries listed below.
We strongly recommend that you attend one of these events.

The launch event is taking place on Tuesday 16th May, 5-6.30 pm in the Council Chamber, St Albans City & District Council. You will be able to find out if and how your project fits into this year’s SADC funding priorities.

This will be a great chance to speak to Emma Edgell, Community Partnerships Manager and Mark Caldwell, Principal Community Engagement Officer, and hear from Kate Newton from the CVS who will take you through the application process.

There is no need to book but if you would like to let us know you are coming or have access needs please contact Peggy Sharp: [email protected]
