Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (HPFT) provides health and social care for over 400,000 people with mental ill health, physical ill health and learning disabilities across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Norfolk and North Essex. We employ nearly 3,000 staff who deliver these services within the community and within inpatient settings. Our overall vision as an organisation is to deliver Great Care and Great Outcome.

What are you looking for?
We are looking for volunteers to join us who share our values and those of the NHS to become ‘Meet and Greet’ volunteers for people attending their appointments at our community mental health services. The key activates of the Meet & Greet role are: • Meet and Greet service users and Carers • Assist service users and carers in completing service experience questionnaires • Providing company and conversation to service users/carers whilst they awaiting their appointments. • Supporting our reception staff in making clinical staff aware when someone may have arrived for their appointment These particular volunteering opportunities area available at: • Welwyn Garden City • Stevenage • Watford • Bishop Stortford

Practical considerations
If you are interested in becoming a Meet & Greet volunteer we will ask you to attend a full day induction on 3rd November 2017 in Hatfield and will ensure you are supported by our Inclusion & Engagement Team as well as the service where you may be volunteering.
