take part in; there is support and advice available and fundraising schemes to register

CVS Diary 2015

Charity Theatre Event:
The Vortex by Noel Coward
on Thursday the 2nd of July 2015.
£12.50 per ticket. An ideal Christmas gift!
Gift tokens are available! All proceeds support the St Albans District Centre
for Voluntary Service (CVS)
The play which made Coward’s name as a writer. From a sharply witty beginning,
this play moves into darker territory.

We will have a market stall on 3rd June all day
and a display in St Albans and Harpenden libraries. We will also be attending the Harpenden Carnival on June 6th.

CVS Conference and AGM
Thursday 16th July 2015 from 9am to 12.30pm followed by the CVS AGM from 12.30pm to 1pm ending with lunch. Key speaker, workshops, news, the chance to air your views and to network. Register here. Reaching out to all visually impaired residents
St Albans & District Talking Newspaper (“SADTN”) helps blind and partially-sighted residents keep in touch with what’s going on in their local community. Every listener is provided free-of-charge with a playback unit and four audio programmes posted each month. Programmes include news stories and readers’ letters from the local papers, articles from local and national magazines, interviews with local ‘celebrities’, previews of music/arts events, audio book reviews and more. If you know someone who is visually impaired, please help them to enjoy these programmes by contacting info@sadtn.org.uk
