funds for Herts groups, totalling over £700,000.
Details of all of the funds and how to get advice on applying will be available on our website on Tuesday 03 March 2015 – please have a look on Tuesday to see which funding your group may be able to apply for and find out how get advice at our Funding Drop-in on Tuesday 10 March, 10am – 3pm.
Grants for projects which aim to make communities safer and provide support for victims of crime

• Previous grants £400-£25,000

Applications need to meet 1 or more of 3 Priorities:
• Improving Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing
• Reducing the harm caused by Alcohol
• Increasing Physical Activity and Promoting a Healthy Weight
Total funding available from Jan 2015 – to March 2016 is £150,000
Groups can apply for funding £500 - £10,000
No closing date – it is a rolling programme of funding across both 2014/15 and 2015/16. Applications are therefore welcomed at any point throughout the year, subject to funding still being available.

Herts Get Set – supporting the voluntary and community sector to participate in the Building Better Opportunities Programme
The programme is jointly funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Big Lottery to deliver projects that promote social inclusion and tackle poverty. We are pleased to inform you that CVS St Albans is working in partnership with Hertfordshire Community Foundation to deliver the Herts Get Set project. Herts Get Set is supported by the Big Lottery's Programme Development Fund to help voluntary and community organisations and social enterprises to participate in Building Better Opportunities.
A programme of events together with 1:1 support is now available for voluntary and community organisations and social enterprises operating in Hertfordshire.
