The ceremony will provide a fabulous evening of celebration, featuring an array of community heroes and their stories plus special guest speakers and live entertainment. On 23rd January 2015 at Aldwickbury Park Golf Club from 7.30pm. 3 course traditional meal with piper, caller and dancing. Tickets £35 per person in aid of the Town Mayors nominated charities: Community Meeting Point Harpenden and Home-Start St Albans City & District. Reaching out to all visually impaired residents
St Albans & District Talking Newspaper (“SADTN”) helps blind and partially-sighted residents keep in touch with what’s going on in their local community. Every listener is provided free-of-charge with a playback unit and four audio programmes posted each month. Programmes include news stories and readers’ letters from the local papers, articles from local and national magazines, interviews with local ‘celebrities’, previews of music/arts events, audio book reviews and more.
