We will be at Redbourn Recreation Centre on 1st July 11.30 to 2.30 and Hilldyke Centre, Wheathampstead on 8th July 9am to 12pm. We will be in Harpenden on 22nd July. If you want to volunteer or need volunteers please drop in.

Addiction Charity Needs A Receptionist

The Living Room need a receptionist for either a half day or a full day. Receptionists are often the first contact a client has with the charity and will need good telephone skills with a warm and friendly manner.

Eid in the Park - Sopwell Community Trust
Eid marks the end of Ramadan.
People of any or no faith are welcome to this festive occasion. Marquees will be set up for worshippers. There will some light refreshment, entertainment and bouncy castles for children.
The date is TBC due to new moon sightings, so either Friday 17th or Saturday 18th July 2015. Starting from 9am with congregational prayer to be offered at 10am and the party begins after that.

Do you have experience of using mental health services? Would you like to have a say about mental health services locally? Service user views matter! Your views can be passed on to those planning services, and can influence the type of care you receive in the future.

Reaching out to all visually impaired residents
St Albans & District Talking Newspaper (“SADTN”) helps blind and partially-sighted residents keep in touch with what’s going on in their local community. Every listener is provided free-of-charge with a playback unit and four audio programmes posted each month. Programmes include news stories and readers’ letters from the local papers, articles from local and national magazines, interviews with local ‘celebrities’, previews of music/arts events, audio book reviews and more. If you know someone who is visually impaired, please help them to enjoy these programmes by contacting info@sadtn.org.uk
